Ok, I am just going to be voicing some thoughts here.

I got a very awesome gift, a present so full of coolness, the geek in my head is doing happy happy joy joy cartwheels. I got the ENTIRE collection of Star Trek: The Next Generation season series 1-7 on DVD. WOOHOO!!!! And while I am watching this, it has finally occurred to me that tv shows have really gone down hill since this gem went off the air. This show, even though I know that it is a bit cheesy for nowadays, but back then it was cutting edge. And it had INTELLIGENCE! That is what I feel is missing in shows to this day. I love the inside jokes, and miss the old time references to Shakespeare as well as other well written novels in history. Even the impossible ideas and theories of space and downright poking fun at the human race in a very subtle way. It was AWESOME! I miss that to this very day.

So nice it had to be said twice. lol. That's ok. I was so happy that I got this gift. hehehe. I actually feel my brain coming alive out of the usual slop that is normally shown on T.V.. Todays shows do not compare in any way shape or form. That scares me.
